WELCOME

My name is Jen and I was born and raised in the beautiful town of Kinsale in the South of Ireland. I've travelled extensively throughout South East Asia and also worked and lived in China as a teacher. I never planned to write a blog but after helping so many people organise their trips to Asia, it felt like an easier way to share my advice while exercising my love of English.
I've had a passion for travel since, as early as I can remember, mainly due to growing up hearing stories from my mum and grandparents about their crazy life in Zimbabwe.
When my brothers and I were little, our incredible granny wrote us a book called 'Little Foot' about a magical character who could travel anywhere in the world and experience wild adventures, if he held a magic pillow.
Fast forward about twenty years and "LittleFootTravels" is born in honour of my beautiful grandmother and her love of writing.
Please enjoy my tiny little corner of the internet I'm going to fill with tips, tricks, recommendations and of course, stories of all the stupid things I've done while travelling.
